About Us
How it all started
Surface World Entertainment is a collective of emerging, Wilmington-based filmmakers. With a seven-member crew, we like to focus on resourcefulness, creativity, and the joy of filmmaking. We have finished our first film and are excited about our upcoming projects!

The idea for Exchange came in December 2019, when our director and one of our producers began looking into the lives of the college exchange students in Wilmington, NC, USA. We found that these students had a unique perspective on American culture, immigration, and education in the United States.
